I have been involved in the real estate industry in one way or another for 34 years. I started as a part-time agent in 1988 while I was teaching school. After I married my husband, I quit teaching school and moved to Tennessee, where we began to flip houses and also buy and hold rental properties. After raising kids I went back to being an agent almost 8 years ago. I love and understand real estate because of these various aspects in which I’ve been involved.
While I do sell investment properties and residential homes, my main focus is equestrian properties. That is because I have been a horse woman my entire life, from starting out on a pony when I was four, working on horse farms through my teenage and college years in various states, and owning my own horses and farm with my husband to this day. One of my favorite things about selling equestrian properties is that I also get to make connections for new farm buyers to other horse people in the area. I think Tennessee horse people are wonderful folks, and it gives me great pleasure in introducing other folks to that world.
