Kim Blanton has almost 30 years of real estate experience with all types of real estate transactions, including knowing first hand about downsizing and moving a loved one to a smaller place.
In 2024, Kim convinced her own mother that it was time to move to Tennessee, from her Florida home of 33 years, into a beautiful assisted living community close by. While the decision to move was ultimately the right one, it was anything but simple. There were many considerations, including coordinating a long-distance home sale and choosing the right Florida REALTOR, maintaining the house long distance, and deciding what to do with decades of furnishings and sentimental items.
Kim also had to feel certain that she had selected the right local community that would feel like home and make sure that her Mom was going to be happy there. Getting all of this right was vital to her mom's future. There is more to the story if you would like to hear more when we meet.

Kim has been so helpful to us find and transition an elderly family member to a more age and physical need home. Her experience, knowledge and caring is second to none. We were very frustrated with the typical real estate agents who were more interested in us buying quickly. Kim was more interested in finding the home that met and exceeded our expectations no matter how long it took. She actually pointed out appropriate reasons not to buy certain properties we had interest in because they didn’t meet our criteria.
