My wife and I have been real estate investors since 1990. We are picky, busy, and often frustrated by realtors' apparent inability to focus on revenue and use our time wisely. Out of the twenty or so realtors we've worked with, Kim has done the best job of meeting our needs. Her response to phone calls and emails was so fast I sometimes wondered if she had a clone or two covering multiple phones and computers. Her communication was thorough, concise, and clear. Her marketing brochure for our recent sale was what you would expect for a home costing ten times what we were asking. The quality and ubiquity of her online marketing of our home was amazing. Any combination of relevant search terms through any search engine I tried would deliver our house at or near the top of the results list. Despite her excellence in these areas, what impressed me most was her good advice. Kim worked like a business partner to advise us on the most cost effective improvements, best paint colors and flooring replacement to get the best return on our investment. I was initially hesitant to stage the house, but she backed up her recommendation to stage with data and a sales price that left me pleased. Her experience and professionalism paid off for us. Kim did a wonderful job finding my Gallatin home in 2014. I moved from KC to Gallatin, so most of the work was done remotely, but Kim was a wealth of information regarding the area. So important as I was new to the area; invaluable references for services, etc. And she was able to zero right in on my needs, all the listings she sent to me were right on target. And what we found is that we did not get the "lookers," but instead the interested buyers that sought our property out were those that were drawn to the very way that Kim marketed our property. They were serious buyers looking for a serious horse property. In a way, we cut out the middle man, and went straight to the core. We chose Kim to sell our home when we decided to downsize. We knew she was an outstanding realtor because she had sold houses next door and second door from us. Mentioning our possible move to our previous next door neighbor (whose home Kim sold) they highly recommended her. Our home wasn't an easy sell, rural area, 14+ acres and outside buildings, well water, etc . Only a few months later it was a done deal. Moving over 500 miles to a new state is scarey, but Kim made it as easy as possible. We were referred to her by our realtor in Michigan. Kim listened whole heartedly to what we wanted in a house, barn and horse property. She kept us up to date on a daily basis on what was new on the market and what went under contract. There was one house that we made a special trip down to see, and after looking at it, Kim felt something wasn't quite right about the house. So on a Saturday nite, she did her research and found out some things about the house and property that made us decide not to put an offer in on it. And it was the right choice.
Once she found us our house, not only did she guide us through the closing process (here in Tennessee but we were in Michigan), but she went out of her way to find us the other services we needed, painters, fencers, horse shoers. We are so thrilled with what she has done for us, that she and her hubby are going to be our first dinner guests at our new house. Kim has been in the Hendersonville market for a long time and is very knowledgeable about the area. She would always have drinks and snacks for us ready every time we went to look at houses. She was excellent with negotiations on our house to get us closing costs and lower price. We have become friends and we recently went out to her house and my daughter visited her farm and horses
